"I feel like the biggest way I make a difference as a veterinarian is through educating owners
about preventative care. Often, if we focus on detecting things early, we can prevent them from
becoming problems. I want to help my patients live longer, healthier lives. Another important
aspect of what we do is to help owners understand and deal with their pets illness, so that they
can make the best decisions for their entire family. For me, those two things are what my job is all
about. It all boils down to making your relationship with your pet the richest and happiest
possible."

Greg Lindamood, DVM (Dr. Greg)
Virginia Tech, 1990 -- VMRCVM, Blacksburg, 1994
"For me, there is nothing more rewarding than being able to identify the cause of a pet's illness
and treat it appropriately. Preventing disease has to be our primary focus, but helping a family
save the life of a beloved pet can be gratifying. Our pets are family members, and we're not the
only people who feel that way. We think of your pets as a part of your family, and that's the way we
want to treat them."
